The Anoka-Ramsey Community College in Cambridge, Minnesota, continually expands its academic and career training offerings to ensure that students have access to only the most up-to-date and relevant programs. Students who want to make the most out of their student life are provided with many resources for involvement, including an enormous variety of student clubs with varying interests, student government opportunities and the Phi Theta Kappa honor society. The campus is always full of excitement, as music, theatre and art events occur regularly. Students are cordially invited to the school’s theatre performances, art exhibits, choir assemblies and band concerts. Academics include undergraduate, certificate and non-credit certificate programs. Associate’s degrees are offered in fields like Art, Biological Sciences, English Literature and Environmental Sciences. Certificate programs are offered in fields like Holistic Geriatric Health and Quality Systems for Biomedical Industries, while non-credit certificates are available in Adobe Professional Suite, Computer Science Network Support and Administration and more. Students also have access to a bachelor’s degree in Special Education, exclusive to the Cambridge campus. Admissions are open. Students with a high school diploma or a GED may attend, as long as they send in official transcripts and register for a new student orientation session. Tuition is set lower for Minnesota residents. Students who wish to be considered for financial aid must file a FAFSA. Forms of aid include grants, A-RCC scholarships, student loans and work-study programs.
