Arizona Culinary Institute

If you would like to turn your passion for food into a rewarding career, you should consider the academics offered by the Arizona Culinary Institute in Scottsdale, Arizona. The Arizona Institute’s culinary arts program features comprehensive training in everything from meat fabrication to elaborate food arrangements. After the first six weeks of basic training, you will begin learning advanced culinary skills like saucier and pastries. The areas of study you can pursue at the institute include: * Culinary Arts * Baking * Restaurant Management The Arizona Institute’s diploma programs can be completed in as little as nine months, allowing students to begin searching for gainful employment in less than a year’s time. You will be guided by expert chefs throughout your training, most of which will be completed in the institute’s professional, fully-equipped kitchens. Since class sizes are small, you will be shown individual attention from your instructors and encouraged to experiment with food throughout your training. Any student with a high school diploma or GED is eligible to apply. Admissions are determined eight times throughout the year. To find out program start dates, please contact the institute. Students who file a FAFSA will be considered for financial aid, funded by federal Pell grants, Stafford loans, PLUS loans and Arizona Culinary Institute scholarships.
