Associated Content was an open content platform which enabled anyone to participate in the new content economy by publishing content on any topic, in any format (text, video, audio and images), and connected that content to consumers, partners and advertisers. Uploaded content could be easily found on the site's home page in broad categories like education, automotive, technology etc, or directly on each content producer's page. AC's content was viewed by millions of people each and every month. Associated Content was acquired by Yahoo in 2010.
