Auburn University Montgomery

As a branch campus of Auburn University, Auburn University at Montgomery (AUM) combines the resources of one of Alabama’s largest universities with the opportunities of the state capital. City and student life at Auburn Montgomery are intertwined, and the university prides itself on its outreach programs. AUM’s academics comprise the following schools: * Business * Education * Liberal Arts * Nursing * Sciences Auburn Montgomery offers dozens of bachelor’s and master’s degree programs, many of which have a professional focus. AUM also features a PhD in Public Administration & Public Policy, which is a joint degree program with Auburn University. Need-based federal programs are the main source of financial aid at AUM, but the university also funds several scholarship programs. To apply for scholarship aid, you must submit all of your application materials, including SAT/ACT scores and your high school transcript, by February 1. To apply for federal aid, complete the FAFSA by March 1. AUM’s admissions requirements for first-time freshmen include a minimum high school GPA of 2.3 and a minimum ACT score of 18 (or an 860 on the SAT). Graduate admissions requirements vary by department.
