Timing of potential and customer profiles - Block by Block gives you data from address specific footfall to qualify investment decisions. We are a software company specializing in providing data for physical retail locations. We have in this context collaborated with investments funds, retail chains and property owners to show the potential of their locations, as well as how they translate the potential inside their stores. By measuring footfall we can digitally illustrate the potential of a location as well as show what segments make it busy. We combine that with measurements of how customers interact inside the store. In the case of a major retail chain we could show that 20 pct. has to wait for more than 5 minutes, resulting in significant loss of customers precisely when our measurements showed the optimal outside potential at the location. The implication has been an ambition to overhaul the staffing to match the potential, thus potentially increasing revenue at the same time as managing staffing, the single most heavy operational expense.
