Briar Cliff University (BCU) is a small school with big opportunities. Its academics emphasize the value of practical experience, and many BCU students choose to participate in internships for credit in the Sioux City area. This educational approach is part of the reason why nearly all of BCU students find employment in their field less than six months after they graduate. On campus, BCU’s academics offer about 45 majors and pre-professional programs to choose from. The university also boasts a student-to-faculty ratio around 15:1, providing the small class sizes and one-on-one attention that mark an excellent liberal arts college. What happens outside of the classroom is just as important to college life, so Briar Cliff features about 40 student organizations to engage in. These campus groups are a greatly way to develop your leadership, serve the community, and grow as an individual in your time at BCU. Because tuition is often the biggest obstacle in the way of achieving higher education, Briar Cliff University provides several financial aid opportunities.
