Each admitted student is paired with a faculty advisor who is available for guidance and support at any stage of your college career. The school prides itself on providing a small college experience, because with that comes individualized attention from both instructors and staff members. Each class is roughly 12 students with a student to faculty ratio of 6:1. Despite its small size, the college offers many resources for an exciting student life. From the Burlington College Student Association to judicial affairs to frequent evening events and programs, you’ll be sure to have fun outside of class. If you want to venture off campus, Burlington provides numerous sidewalk cafés, restaurants, art galleries and shops, not to mention festivals of varying interests just about every weekend. Those interested in the outdoors should not miss the opportunity to hike the Catamount Trail, scale the Green Mountains or ski the several nearby mountains. Academics at the school are centered on your individual interests. Whether you want to study film, hospitality or internal psychology, there’ll be a program for you.
