Eastern Oklahoma County Technology Center

Eastern Oklahoma County Technology Center (EOCTC) offers academic, career and other opportunities for high school students, adults and senior citizens. EOCTC is located in Choctaw, Oklahoma, and serves the community by offering vocational training programs. Programs of study offered on a full-time basis include: * Agriculture, food and natural resources * Arts and communications * Health sciences * Information technology * Legal studies The center provides such student services as: * Counseling * Academic and career assessment * Job placement EOCTC also offers professional development courses for local employees and businesses. EOCTC also houses childcare and adult day care facilities. The childcare facility provides childcare services while also training future daycare workers and early childhood educators. The adult day care service provides various types of support to local seniors who are disabled or incapacitated. EOCTC works with social service, cultural and other types of organizations to provide financial assistance to students in need. Some of the organizations and programs through which students may receive aid are: * The veteran’s administration * Vocational rehabilitation * American Indian training/employment program The school also awards scholarships and offers need-based Pell grants. Anyone may enroll at EOCTC. Prospective students will first need to meet with a school representative. Then, they’ll need to take an assessment, after which they’ll meet with the student services coordinator. After applying for financial aid, or making a tuition payment-plan, new students may then register for classes.
