Ei Electronics is a 100% Irish owned private Company, established in March 1988 following a management buyout from GE. Ei Electronics have been involved in the design and manufacture of Smoke Alarms (and later Carbon Monoxide Alarms) for over 40 years. The Company has achieved continuous growth through the development of a stream of innovative new products manufactured on state of the art process technology, delivered to the highest customer service standards. Their products are conceptualised and realised by a dedicated team of professionals. Using 3D CAD solid works and PCB design software, their team can quickly produce designs, printed on 3D printers with rapid prototyping, for testing and evaluation with the market needs. Their products are tested and approved according to stringent European Norm test standards. The sensors, which form the heart of their products, are individually calibrated in real gas or smoke. Each product is subjected to a comprehensive list of tests before leaving the factory and can be traced back to its starting point in the manufacturing process.
