Eureka College

For a personalized undergraduate education in the liberal arts and sciences that is more akin to a small, cohesive family than an enormous university, there’s the Eureka College in Eureka, Illinois. The school is affiliated with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), although students with any or no faith background are just as welcome. Admissions require students to submit their SAT or ACT scores along with their application. Academics at the school include more than 30 majors, pre-professional programs and other programs of study, including Art, English, Physical Education, Computer Sciences and many more. The school encourages studying abroad and gaining professional experience through its many internship opportunities. Student life at Eureka is both active and diverse, with more than 40 student clubs and many campus activities, ranging from hosting comedians, authors and other guest speakers to performing theater and holding career-oriented festivals. Nearly 50% of the student body is involved with the arts program, whether through music, theatre, the visual arts or literary arts. Eureka offers many merit-based and interest-based scholarships to eligible students, like the Eureka College Ministry Fellowship, Arts Grant, Trustee Scholarship and many more.
