Finlandia University

Finlandia University is a small liberal arts college in Hancock, Michigan, that offers a friendly and supportive educational experience. Academics include bachelor’s degrees in: * Arts, Culture and Environment * Communications * Criminal Justice * English * General Studies * Human Services * Liberal Studies * Psychology * Sociology Students in all majors are also encouraged to take one of Finlandia’s classes in music and theatre, which teach everything from singing to playwriting. The Finlandia community is a tightly knit one. This means that students get to know their professors, and get to know one another. Students may develop these social connections even further by joining one of the school’s cultural or special interest clubs or organizations. Students will also encounter a friendly attitude in the student services division, which offers private tutoring and accessible career and academic counseling. Admissions requirements include a high school diploma, with a GPA of at least 2.0 or a GED with a score of at least 52.1. Finlandia University offers federal and private loans, as well as state grants and scholarship programs. Most financial aid programs are need-based and require a FAFSA.
