G.D.G. Environnement is a unique center of expertise dedicated to finding solutions to environmental issues. Throughout Eastern Canada, the organization conducts biological control of biting insects operations (mosquitoes and black flies) in order to reduce the nuisance caused by these species. G.D.G. Environnement also performs actions to prevent the spread of mosquito-borne diseases such as the West Nile virus. GDG Environnement possesses the certification ICI, ON RECYCLE! level 2 issued by Recyc-Quebec as well as the certification À Trois-Rivieres, le Développement durable, la viabilité de notre milieu. They promote eco-driving for travel, e-learning and local hiring. Their fleet of vehicles is georeferenced in real time to know its location at all times. Almost all oils, batteries, paper, plastics and printer cartridges are recycled or reused. GDG Environnement focuses more on solutions to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions and explore new challenges in terms of sustainability certification.
