Grupo Somelos

Somelos dedicates itself to the production of yarns and to the production of cotton fabrics. Somelos was founded in 1958 under the name of Teixeira de Melo e Filhos Lda. In 1971 the company changed its name to Indústrias Têxteis Somelos SA and became a corporation. Not long after, in 1974, the Dyeing and Finishing business areas became active and Somelos became a vertical company.
