Since 1958, PAM Group supports Italians with their purchases: on December 13th of that same year, the first supermarket was established. It was in an area where formerly a cinema stood, in Padua. The company grew intensively since then: thanks to strategic acquisitions and a high adjustment skill to the market, PAM is nowadays present in eleven Italian regions, such as Piedmont, Lombardy, Liguria, Trentino Alto Adige, Veneto, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Emilia Romagna, Tuscany, Umbria, Lazio and Abruzzo, with more than 700 stores. PAM Group, acronym of the claim ''More at less'', has a distribution network that includes different types of store, such as discounts, superstores, supermarkets and also a franchising network. All of them, although based on different concepts, share the same core values on which PAM Group was founded: attention for the client, quality of the products, wide range and cheapness of the offer. Nowadays, PAM Group counts more than 9,500 co-workers, more than 500 stores directly managed and around 170 subsidiaries. PAM’s 2015 closing is of 2.4 billion Euros. For its future, the Group foresees a great development and a renewal of its sales network.
