Started in the 70s by Luiz Eduardo Indio da Costa in the form of a small architecture studio, the office became gradually in an interdisciplinary enterprise structure. In the mid 90s, with the entry of Luiz Augusto Indio da Costa, the company expanded its area to product design and transport, changing its name to Indio da Costa Design and Architecture. Today, the company works with a team of approximately 60 professionals, including planners, architects, industrial and graphic designers, pattern makers, designers and students. In partnership with complementary research teams, engineering, landscape, acoustics, technical lighting and air conditioning, among others, the company is able to meet work of great breadth, complexity and duration contracts, working at all levels of projects. With this latest configuration, the company updated its brand to INDIO COAST D • A • U • T, thus indicating its four areas: architecture, urbanism, design and transport.
