Those interested in attending one of Lake Michigan College’s two-year degree programs should fill out an application and take an entrance exam. However, those who already have an associate’s or higher degree or have taken the SAT or ACT do not need to take this exam. Once approved for admissions, new students will also need to meet with an academic advisor. As a community college, Lake Michigan is committed to keeping its tuition fees as low as possible. However, financial aid is still available for eligible students who need help. Eligibility requirements for need-based federal aid sources like Pell grants, work-study and loans include financial need and possession of a high school diploma or GED.
