Lane Community College

If you’re a resident of Eugene, Oregon interested in transferring to one of Oregon’s undergraduate or even graduate programs, Lane Community College is a good place to start. Lane Community College doesn’t only offer two-year degrees in various fields. Lane also offers pre-professional options in careers requiring a master’s degree. For example, Pre-Veterinary Medicine, Pre-Physical Therapy and Pre-Occupational Therapy are some of the pre-professional program options at Lane. Each of these gives students the foundational courses they need before pursuing a graduate degree in such fields. Since Lane Community College has transfer agreements with University of Oregon and Oregon State University, the transfer process is smooth and students don’t have to worry about losing credits for courses taken. Lane Community College also has a number of year-long career certification options in health and technical fields. Regardless of which academic or career pathway you take, Lane offers support for its students every step of the way. Career counseling, job placement, academic advising and tutoring, personal and substance-abuse counseling, and programs for veterans, women and disabled students are some of the support programs offered to Lane students. Should LCC students need financial assistance, they may be eligible for loans, grants, scholarships and work-study, all of which may be discussed with a financial aid counselor.
