Louisiana Technical University provides bachelor’s level degrees in technical and other fields of study. Located in Ruston, Louisiana, Louisiana Tech has an enrollment of more than 10,000 students, making for a lively campus with a lot of choices. The admissions department requires that applicants either be in the top 25% of their class, have a grade point average of at least 2.6 or an SAT score of at least 1090. Financial aid is awarded through federal aid programs such as grants and loans, designed for those with a strong financial need. There are also merit scholarships awarded by the school itself.
