The Macomb Community College in Warren, Michigan, provides a dynamic educational experience through its comprehensive associate’s transfer, bachelor’s, graduate, and career training programs. Many opportunities to get involved in student life are available at the school, including student organizations, volunteer projects, multicultural international initiatives and social events. Whether you want to gain leadership experience through the Emerging Leaders Program, or join like-minded students in academic or special interests organizations like the Art and Photography Club or Campus Crusade, there’ll be opportunities for you to make the most out of your collegiate experience. The campus brims with activity, as school hosts extracurricular events frequently, like talent shows, battle of the bands, reading clubs, seminars and trips. Academics include more than 200 degree and certificate programs in a variety of fields, like Astronomy, Culinary Arts, Nuclear Medicine Technology, Journalism and more. Pre-college, professional education, customized workforce training and cultural programs are also offered. New students must complete an admissions application and placement testing, attend a new student orientation session and register for classes in order to enroll. The college offers scholarships to students who satisfy the criteria. Eligible students who have filed a FAFSA will be considered to receive other financial aid options through federal grants, loans and work study programs.
