In addition, MATC offers courses in basic skills and enrichment. At MATC students have more than 200 degree and certificate programs to choose from. Major areas of study include: * Anesthesia Technology * Animation * Baking and Pastry Arts * Biomedical Electronics Technology * Dental Hygiene * Graphic Design * Occupational Therapy Assisting * Respiratory Therapy All classes are hands-on and use the most current technologies and methods available. Programs are also convenient, with classes available in the daytime, on weekends and in the evenings. Individual classes are also available in basic math and English, GED preparation, the creative arts and other subjects. Students may also take advantage of numerous student services including bilingual support, advising and tutoring. Those who would like to take a single course may simply enroll, as long as they meet course pre-requisites. For admissions to a degree program, students must fill out an application, submit transcripts from all schools attended and take a placement exam. Certain programs may also have additional requirements, including a criminal background check. Financial aid is available for students who meet income and other eligibility requirements. To apply for financial aid, submit a FAFSA.
