Monteclaro Escuela de Hoteleria y Artes Culinarias is a women’s college in Palmer, Puerto Rico, which provides professional certifications in hospitality, culinary arts and related professional areas. The 11-month programs at Monteclara Escuela lead to professional certifications in such fields as: * Professional cooking * Pastry making * Hotel reception Monteclara Escuela is specifically designed for women between the ages of 16 and 22. Those who wish to attend must, therefore, first meet this gender and age requirement. Additional admissions requirements include possession of a high school diploma or GED. Applicants must submit an application, transcripts and have a personal interview with an admissions representative. To help its students pay tuition costs, Monteclaro Escuela provides federal and state grants and school scholarships, which are based on financial need. Tuition payment plans are also available upon approval.
