Mt. San Antonio College

Whether you live in Los Angeles, Pomona, Pasadena or San Bernardino, you might find a program of interest at the nearby Mt. San Antonio College. Located in the San Gabriel Valley in Walnut, California, Mt. SAC is one of the larger community colleges in the state. It is, therefore, no surprise that Mt. San Antonio not only serves much of the San Gabriel Valley, but individuals from nearly 20 other Southern California communities. Mt. SAC offers associate’s degrees and certificate programs in a number of fields, including humanities, social and natural sciences, technology, health and a popular radio and television broadcasting program. Day, evening, weekend and online classes are all available. There are numerous resources at Mt. SAC to help students succeed. Among these are career services, the Learning Assistance Center, the Math Activities Resource Center and the Writing Center. There is also academic assistance for athletes and support for students from minority, disabled or disadvantaged backgrounds. Mt. San Antonio College offers a range of financial aid options to part-time and full-time students who qualify. These include grants, work-study, loans and scholarships or any combination thereof.
