Muskingum University

Muskingum University, a small Presbyterian university in New Concord, Ohio, offers personalized liberal arts-based academics that nurture the whole person. The first undergraduate year at Muskingum is grounded firmly in liberal arts studies, after which students go on to pursue their major. Majors include such fields as Pre-Law, Religion, Engineering, Nursing, a variety of interdisciplinary programs and the spectrum of arts and sciences-based subjects. A small collection of graduate degrees are also offered, primarily in teacher-education. For adult students, Muskingum offers such programs through evening and weekend courses for convenience. Muskingum’s student life also integrates all aspects of its students. Included is an active religious ministry, which offers on-campus worship and services. There is also a radio station, an award-winning newspaper, a number of clubs, sports teams and academic, career-oriented and arts organizations.
