New York Magazine

New York Magazine is a weekly magazine focused on life, culture, politics, restaurants, fashion, and more with a particular emphasis on New York City. The company also operates several websites that include NYmag.com, Vulture.com, Daily Intelligencer, The Cut, and Grub Street. In the course of its lifetime, New York has also published a number of books that include New York Look Book, My First New York, In Season, and Simple Recipes. New York Magazine was launched by Milton Glaser and Clay Felker in 1968 as the Sunday-magazine supplement of the New York Herald Tribune newspaper, and published many noteworthy articles on American culture by writers such as Tom Wolfe, Jimmy Breslin, Nora Ephron, Frank Rich, and John Heilemann.
