Northwest Nazarene University

A four-year Christian school in Nampa, Idaho, Northwest Nazarene University offers a spiritual, Christ-centered environment in which to pursue a variety of educational programs. At the undergraduate level, Northwest Nazarene has more than 60 academic areas to choose from, including: *Studio Art *Graphic Design *Business Administration *Broadcasting *Computer Science *Criminal Justice *Music *Engineering *Cultural Studies *Nursing There are also pre-professional programs such as Pre-Law, Pre-Medicine, Pre-Optometry and Pre-Dental. Since Northwest Nazarene is a religious school, it offers a number of majors for future ministers, pastors, theologians and religious educators as well. In addition to its traditional bachelor’s degree, Northwest Nazarene has an accelerated degree program designed especially for adult learners. Other academic programs include master’s degrees, classes for high school students and continuing education courses. The religious and spiritual life at Northwest Nazarene is strongly emphasized both in and out of class. Groups and activities include a campus ministry, chapel services, fellowship groups and opportunities to get involved with local churches. Those who are applying for admission will need to submit transcripts and test scores and will also need to have a strong commitment to the Christian faith and to a Christian education. Applicants to any of Northwest Nazarene’s degree programs may also apply for financial aid.
