Odessa College

In addition to career-oriented and academic degrees, Odessa College in Odessa, Texas provides comprehensive services to help its students master academic and other challenges. Odessa’s degree programs encompass programs in the arts and sciences, which range from Agriculture to Music to Social Sciences. Career-based majors prepare students to work in such fields as law enforcement, childcare and healthcare. Since many students find such subjects as math and writing quite challenging, Odessa has devised a Supplemental Instruction service. Just as the name indicates, this program provides additional out-of-class instruction in such subjects. For students who still require additional help with these and other subjects, tutoring services are also available. Since students will sometimes confront challenges related to career choices or even personal issues, Odessa also has career and personal counselors on hand to assist with these issues. The admissions department at Odessa requires that students submit a copy of their high school diploma or GED. Students requiring assistance with tuition may file an application for financial aid when applying for admission.
