However, at Professional Golfers Career College (PGCC), you can prepare yourself for a number of exciting careers in golf, all while improving your game. PGCC’s associate’s degree in Professional Golf Management is a basic program that focuses on the fundamentals of golf management. The curriculum covers running a golf shop, teaching the sport, and managing a country club. By the time you graduate, you’ll be ready for entry-level employment in the industry. One of the distinguishing features of PGCC is that students get to play golf five days a week. Classes take place in the morning, and the rest of the day is devoted to honing your skills on the course. In addition to the admissions application, PGCC requires your high school transcript, one letter of recommendation from a golf coach and three extra references. You should also complete the FAFSA if you’re interested in financial aid. PGCC is eligible for federal programs, and alternative loan options are available.
