Service is also an important part of a Rockhurst education. Students engage in numerous community service activities and, upon graduation, even receive a second transcript, which outlines such activities. Other student life opportunities include more than 40 on-campus cultural, recreational and academic organizations and clubs. Admission requirements for freshman applicants include submission of an application, SAT or ACT scores, transcripts and a recommendation letter. Transfer, evening, non-degree and graduate students each have different admissions requirements. Financial aid is awarded through grants, loans and other sources to students who meet certain requirements.
