Sacramento City College

Sacramento City College is a comprehensive community college where students may receive career training or the academic preparation needed for a transfer to a four-year university. Located in the city of Sacramento with two additional campus sites in Davis and West Sacramento, the college’s academics include such diverse areas of study as Accounting, Aeronautical Studies, Allied Health, Business, Computer Science, Cosmetology, Dental Assisting, Economics, English, Fashion Design, Fine Arts, Library Science, Occupational Therapy Assistance, Music and Nursing. All programs lead to either a two-year associate’s degree or career certificate. Student life helps students to integrate their social and academic lives. More than 50 student organizations give students the chance to explore artistic interests, develop academic and career skills and find a social outlet. Services offered include tutoring and career and transfer counseling. Students interested in attending Sacramento City College may visit the school on one of the days designed specifically to guide prospective students through the admissions process. Financial aid is available through scholarships and loans, with a limited number of tuition waivers also offered for eligible students.
