Saffron Housing Trust Limited

Saffron Housing Trust provides over 5000 homes throughout East Anglia. It added over 200 homes last year and is planning to provide 6000 homes by 2015. Saffron issued a Bond in July 2013 enabling it to pursue its development programme. The Bond was over-subscribed underlining the reputation that Saffron has for providing high quality affordable homes. A good local employer, Saffron, based in Long Stratton, has low staff turnover and award winning apprentices. A pilot project involving apprentices with small local businesses in Diss is hoping to provide work experience and training for young people leaving Diss High School. Saffron regularly consults with CAP its Customer Advisory Panel. The 12 Non-Executive Directors are drawn from local businesses and include CAP nominated Board members.
