San Diego Mesa College

Mesa College in San Diego, California is a great place to start if you’re interested in transferring to a UC, Cal State or even a private college or university. At Mesa students may get an associate’s degree in academic subject areas such as Anthropology, Architecture, Black Studies, Dramatic Arts, Foreign Languages, Psychology and Sociology. Such subject areas are ideal preparation for a four-year education. Mesa’s student services include tutoring, academic assessment and advising, career and academic counseling and a new, state-of-the-art learning resources center. It’s no surprise, then, that the majority of Mesa students go on to four-year schools. However, there are also a number of Mesa students who elect to do get a career-specific degree or certificate in such fields as American Sign Language, Animal Health Technology, Building Construction Technology, Dental Assisting, Hotel Management, Medical Assisting and Physical Therapy Assisting.
