Students who want to become the servant-leaders of tomorrow can get their theological education and real-world volunteer experience at the San Francisco Theological Seminary in San Francisco, California, one of the West’s only seminaries affiliated with the Presbyterian Church. Your college life at the seminary will not be complete without immersive experiences in an auxiliary program. You can volunteer at many annual events, including the Horizons Bible Study and Children’s Advent Celebration, to prepare yourself for a life of service. You can also become part of the seminary’s Student Forum, a group that addresses the concerns of both the student body and community to strengthen your leadership potential. The academics offered at the seminary reflect the Reformed faith tradition, which is rooted in Scripture. Three advanced degrees are offered, including: * Master of Divinity * Master of Arts in Theological Study * Doctor of Ministry If you are not a degree-seeking student, you can enroll in many certificate and graduate diploma programs, including: * Art of Spiritual Direction * Spiritual Formation Studies * Jewish Studies * Women’s Studies in Religion * Faith Traditions and Culture of Asia and Oceania As an ecumenical institution, the seminary welcomes students from all Christian denominations.
