Autogenie came about because the team at Smartsalary saw that people struggled with the hassles and pressures associated with the traditional car buying process every day. As car buyers ourselves, we got frustrated with all the email spam, annoying phone calls and the pushy sales tactics some dealers were using. We also realised how overwhelming it was to shop around, go to multiple dealers and compare quotes. In the end, we wasted a lot of time and we weren’t even sure if we had a great price. We knew there had to be a better way. So, we decided to do something about it and Autogenie was born.
