Stratio is a disruptive Big Data start-up. Stratio develops platforms and products with the best-of-breed Big Data technologies in a post-Hadoop era. These include Cassandra, Apache Spark and Stratio's own components. Stratio is committed to helping leading organizations transform and build their digital strategy around Big Data. Our products and services are primarily used by large corporations in the areas of banking, telecom, insurance, retail and industry - Companies and organizations that have a high volume of data and are looking to become Digital. Banks, insurers, telcos, retail and many other clients use Stratio's solutions for interactive, real-time and/or batch processing applications. The start-up was founded in November 2013 by a team of seasoned engineers, designers and technology consultants and has grown from a team of 15 to 170, mainly based on Madrid, Spain.
