Till 2012, smartphone penetration was very low in Bangladesh market. Symphony pointed out a gap between market demand and market offerings as global brands were charging high price for smartphones. In 2012, symphony entered smartphone market with the same value for money proposition and now symphony is leading smartphone provider in Bangladesh as Symphony handsets are less expensive, but maintain quality, offering variety in features.
