The Institute is a comprehensive center for the diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of over 80 sleep disorders including insomnia, sleep apnea, narcolepsy, excessive daytime sleepiness, and circadian rhythm disturbances in both adults and children. Ruchir P. Patel, M.D., the Medical Director of The Institute, is a fellowship-trained and board certified sleep disorders specialist that practices full time sleep medicine. The mission of The Institute is to fully evaluate all patients before a sleep study is even considered as there are several types of sleep disorders that do not warrant a sleep study. This center also offers non-medication therapy for insomnia as well as the treatment of sleep disorders other than sleep apnea alone.
