The National Hispanic University

The National Hispanic University in San Jose, California, seeks to provide Hispanics, other minorities, and students of all kinds with undergraduate degrees, transfer programs, and certifications for professional careers in business, education, and technology. The university is accredited by the Western Association of School and Colleges. Students may also enroll as auditors with permission of the instructor. The university provides a Student Success Program for students of low-income families, first of their families to graduate college, and those with disabilities. The program is designed to help students overcome class, social, and cultural barriers. Participants will receive academic tutoring, be a part of study groups, take part in cultural enrichment activities, receive assistance in course selection and financial aid, and more. Students interested must demonstrate need, commit to participation in the activities and events, and complete the application. Financial aid is available for eligible students through grants, loans and work study.
