TIO was established in 1979 to provide insurance options for those living in the Northern Territory. Their focus has not changed. Headquartered in Darwin, their strength lies in their solid understanding of the conditions faced within the Territory year after year. They also manage the Motor Accidents Compensation Scheme on behalf of the Northern Territory Government.
