TidePowerd is reducing the learning curve and development time associated with programming for Graphics Processor Units (GPUs) by allowing developers to write optimized code to GPUs using high-level (.NET-based) languages they are familiar with (C#, F#, VB.NET, etc…). GPU .NET: Their flagship product contains a runtime and compiler integrated into Visual Studio that dynamically generates (JIT-compiles) hardware vendor-specific device code. This means developers only need to write their program once, and it will run on different graphics hardware without the need to re-write. If there is no GPU in the system, the program will fall-back to regular .NET on the CPU.
