University of Saskatchewan is one of the top 15 medical-doctoral, research intensive universities in Canada. The campus has sat on the banks of the South Saskatchewan River in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan since 1907. Its research focuses on Aboriginal Peoples, agriculture, energy and mineral resources, animal and human health, synchrotron science, and water security.
