Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri is probably best known as the home for the renowned Winston Churchill Museum. This is no surprise considering that Westminster is a place where students can expand intellectually, socially and culturally. Westminster’s academics reflect that commitment to intellectual expansion, offering such majors as Classical Studies, Philosophy, Religion, Physics, Chemistry and Anthropology. Career-oriented academics are also offered in Allied Health, Computer Science, Engineering and Law. In addition to the Churchill museum, which features artifacts from and chronicles the political leader’s life, there is also a women’s center and the Center for Engaging the World, which hosts lectures on multiculturalism. A small school, Westminster fosters a sense of community both in and out of class. Through Westminster’s student organizations, students may get acquainted with one another while dedicating themselves to social justice, environmental awareness, literary composition, spirituality and politics. Westminster’s expansive attitude also stretches across the globe, with many students taking a semester or year to study or undertake projects abroad.
