Wolfsburg AG is a public-private partnership between the city of Wolfsburg and Volkswagen AG. We have been committed to developing projects in future-oriented fields of activity and implementing them together with our strong partners since 1999. We use these ideas and incentives to create a multitude of initiatives for business and life in the Wolfsburg region. We have successfully managed to improve the attractiveness of the Wolfsburg region as a business location and an excellent place to live on a long-term basis. A multitude of companies, from start-ups through to global players, have relocated to the location. This achievement, together with the implementation of a large number of innovative employment schemes, has enabled us to reduce the unemployment rate in the Wolfsburg region by more than half. Wolfsburg AG was one of the first economic development companies to be certified in accordance with the DIN EN ISO 9001 and DIN EN ISO 14001 standards. These certifications underline the company's high-quality services for its clients and all interested partners. Wolfsburg AG also stands out due to its high level of commitment to avoiding impacts on the environment and reducing the consumption of resources.
